Dr.Jizhong Zhou is a George Lynn Cross Research Professor and PresidentialProfessor in the Department of Microbiology and Plant Biology, School of CivilEngineering and Environmental Sciences, and Director for the Institute forEnvironmental Genomics, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. He is also anAdjunct Senior Scientist at Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lawrence BerkeleyNational Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, and a National Chair Professor at School ofEnvironment, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He has authored more than 570publications, with total citations of > 33,000 and H-index of 97, onmicrobial genomics, genomic technologies, molecular biology, molecularevolution, microbial ecology, bioremediation, bioenergy, global change, bioinformatics,systems biology, and theoretical ecology.
